Sand blasting media is a great way to effectively remove paint, grease and rust from a wide variety of surfaces such as stone and metal. When combined with either a compressed air for pneumatic blasting or with a pressure washer for wet sand blasting is by far the fastest way to remove grease and paint from just about any surfaces. There are many different types of sand blasting media products and equipment to handle just about any job.
Magnesium Sulphate is one type of soda blasting that is the ideal choice for cleaning and decontaminating heavy equipment. This product is environmentally friendly and water soluble which means it can be washed directly into the soil. Since it doesn’t produce any sparks it can be used in explosion-proof and flammable environments as well. This product is also especially well suited for cleaning heavy equipment and production equipment. It is much more abrasive than baking soda yet soft enough to use around sensitive equipment such as bearings and sliding mechanism. It’s also non-corrosive so it won’t corrode aluminum, brass or copper. Besides its uses in degreasing heavy equipment it’s also a great choice for marble, tile and stone restoration. You can even use it for car restoration and removing bottom paint for boats. Magnesium Sulphate is available in mesh sizes range from fine (20-40), medium (40-60), and coarse (64-80).
If you’re looking for a sand blasting media that packs a little bit more of a punch than Magnesium Sulphate than you should consider using a sodium bicarbonate product. This product is also water soluble and environmentally friendly which makes it perfect for both outdoor and indoor use. The abrasive nature of sodium bicarbonate is tough enough for graffiti and paint removal but it’s also soft enough for sculpture and building restoration without damaging the surface. That’s an extremely important feature when it comes to restoring detailed areas of sensitive surfaces.
There are also various types of sandblaster equipment you can use in conjunction with your sand blasting media to make your operations much more efficient. The water blasting induction system features a 15 degree induction nozzle, siphon hose, and abrasive hopper to supply the media of choice for your application. The hopper is capable of holding 150 pounds of soluble abrasives and 225 pounds of hard abrasives. The 50 feet of siphon hose ensures that you won’t have to drag the hopper all over to finish the job.
No matter what the application, the use of sand blasting media such as sodium bicarbonate and magnesium sulphate in conjuction with your electric pressure washers or gas power washers is the ideal choice to effectively clean a surface without damaging it.

Commercial reverse osmosis systems are the types of systems that many consumers expect to see used in businesses today. This system works by using pressure to force the solution through a membrane which helps to filter out impurities from the water. This in turn makes the water reusable for your business which not only helps the environment but adding up to a cost savings.
You have the option of choosing from among several commercial reverse osmosis systems one that fits your specific business size. The sizes of the systems range from ¼ horse power that can process up to six hundred gallons of water a day to a system that is 3 horse powers and will process 8,700 gallons per day. These systems are built to last with stainless steel frame and stands, as well as automatic and manual backwash features which help to increase the life of the membrane.
These are just an example of some features for this system. This system comes pre-plumbed and wired as well as tested prior to shipment. Commercial reverse osmosis systems are perfect for self car wash bays and will help to leave the vehicles spot free. Consumers will love the wash that they get and return again.
Repeat business is what it is all about. You can purchase commercial reverse osmosis systems transfer only if you need to transfer the reverse osmosis water to more than one bay. Most of these run off of 110V with some that will take 110V or 230V. The largest of this system will need a 230V.
How the System Works
Osmosis is the process of passive movement of water to an area with the least amount of solutes or particles to an area with more solutes to equalize the pressure. With the reverse system the solution or water is pushed through a membrane and filter from an area that has more solutes to one of no solutes. This is what provides you with cleaner water. Cleaner water provides you with better applications to use in your commercial systems. This is the key in achieving a spot free car wash.
By using commercial reverse osmosis systems you are helping the environment. People are more aware today than ever concerning environmental issues and the impact that businesses have on our environment. One of the means of increasing profit margins as well as meeting regulatory needs is to have this system in place. Letting people know that you are a business that cares will increase the traffic to your business.

Pressure washer cleaning solutions can take you beyond basic cleaning. Whether you are a homeowner or cleaning business professional, there are bound to be occasions where you have a need to go beyond the standard cleaning capabilities of even the best pressure washers. When you need to call in the big guns, you want the right cleaning solutions and accessories to help you get the job done.
Pressure washer cleaning solutions can be applied in a number of ways, including chemical injectors and chemical sprayers; the method of delivering the solution will depend on the size of the area you need to clean. The first thing that you need to do is identify the cause of the stains to be removed as the underlying cause will determine which chemicals are best to use and which solutions will be ineffective.
Pressure washer cleaning solutions can clean the following
- Rust
- Paint
- Mold & Mildew
- Deep-set dirt/grime
- Oil & Grease stains, etc.
In order to use the right solutions for the problem you have, it is vital that you know the type of stain you are cleaning. An added bonus is that many of the pressure washer cleaning solutions on the market are biodegradable, which makes using them a lot safer; be sure that you are aware of which products are biodegradable and which are not. This can save you costly mistakes.
In addition to knowing the type of stains that you want to remove, you need to focus on the surface that the stains are on as there are different solutions for vinyl, metal, concrete or wood, for example. You need to be sure that you are buying the cleaning solutions that are meant for specific use on your problem stains and the surface that the stains are on.
When using pressure washer cleaning solutions, you should be sure that you apply them according to the directions on the packaging; additionally, you should be certain that you do not mix them with other chemicals. Mixing pressure washing cleaning solutions may cause them to be caustic and dangerous! If you are using a chemical injector or sprayer, it is important that you give them a thorough cleaning after each and every use, especially if you will be using a different chemical with them.
The proper use of the cleaning solutions can make your job not only easier, but also more effective; since time is money for the homeowner and business person alike. This means that the cleaning solutions will likely pay for themselves in terms of saving time, while also helping you do a better job for your customers.
When purchasing your pressure washer cleaning solutions you should be certain to avoid making your purchases from local hardware stores; these stores are usually staffed by well-meaning, but not always well informed people. You should always consult with another professional when buying power washing equipment or pressure washer cleaning solutions.

Gone are the days of washing a car with a hose and a sponge. This can be time consuming and not always possible depending on where a customer lives. Besides that, it may not always wash to perfection the way car wash systems can.
Customers do not want to spend a whole lot of time at the car wash, drive-in car wash systems are therefore very likely to be favored by most. The parts of a drive-in car wash are mounted around the inside the car wash bay, allowing customers to simply drive through and have the machines do all the hard work for them.
Car wash booms are an integral part of any car wash systems. These booms are mounted to the walls or ceilings and are built to shift and rotate to wash and rinse the car from bumper to bumper.
Another important step to car washing is, of course, drying the car after it is finally sparkling clean. Air booms can be present inside the car wash to dry the exterior of the car, or, there are vacuum booms which are also mounted to the floors, walls or ceilings and used for finishing off the interior of the car.
Interior car detail is overlooked by some car wash customers, but others are more enthusiastic about doing a thorough job. For these car lovers there are smaller and more mobile car washing packages which use the same types of car wash equipment that a drive-in car wash does. These packages are of quite professional standard and come with long lasting stainless steel parts for a cost efficient investment.
Both drive-in car wash systems and self car washing kits have a highly customizable array of amenities. Booms are available in single, double and even triple versions for washing all types of vehicles from sports cars to buses. There are straight and bent booms, which travel 180 degrees or 360 degrees respectively. These options are also available for air booms to allow drying a car, truck or bus to be as quick and easy as washing it.
Car wash stations accommodate customer’s car washing needs in addition to booms. Stations can be helpful for detailing, vacuuming, pumping (car wash pump station), and drying and are a great addition to any car wash system.
Building a car wash arsenal is entirely possible these days for any business or personal user. It’s easy to find what you’re looking for if you only know what car wash systems are out there! Find out how to start a carwash business.

A waterblaster is sort of the atomic bomb of the cleaning industry. It should not be used lightly, or by amateurs, and on some jobs it simply shouldn’t be used at all. It is recommended to use water blaster safety equipment for safety. However, when a job arises where it is needed, nothing else will really do the trick.
Imagine a metal lawn chair on a patio in your back yard. Now, imagine a bit of dust on the lawn chair. The obvious way to remove the dust is by using a rag or broom, or perhaps soapy water and a sponge if the dust has been there a while and gotten comfortable. The garden hose may or may not be required. Now, imagine if the dust became mud and has been ground into the concrete patio by an enthusiastic softball team. This would be a good job for a pressure washer, which could remove the dirt without damaging the surface. Now imagine that the concrete was lying on top of some granite bedrock which, for some reason, you would like to expose. Now you have a reason to use a water blaster.
A waterblaster could be capable of delivering hot or cold water at pressures between 7,000 PSI, which can remove paint from concrete, and 20,000 PSI, which can remove concrete from bedrock. So what possible use could your average residential contract cleaning service have for such a machine? Not much. But if your customer base includes light industrial or heavy industrial clients, or if you own some of these facilities yourself, you could find plenty of opportunities to put a water blaster to use.
A large boat ramp or marina could use a waterblaster to remove barnacles, loose paint and rust from boat hulls, docks, platforms and ballast tanks. Aircraft depots or airports can use water blasters to clean and maintain runways and hangar floors, or clean expansion joints. Breweries could use a waterblaster to clean buildup and sediment from tanks, coolers and evaporators. Finally, and perhaps most impressively, construction companies could use a water blaster for concrete cutting and demolition.
For efficiency wise, the use of ultra high pressure blaster accessories should be added to your equipment. Accessories available from wet sandblasting systems, rotating turbo nozzles, guns and attachments, floor cleaning to foot valves.
You could buy a water blaster for around $100,000, but most business owners would probably rather rent one than buy one, or better yet, hire someone else to use theirs. When you consider the kind of work that a waterblaster can do, though, and the extra life it can offer to some other incredibly expensive equipment, you must admit that the machine is worth the price.

Understanding what hydraulic centrifugal pumps can do for you and your equipment is important. By using this type of pump in a system you can increase the output of solution that you are distributing. When you want to increase the amount of pressure available through your pressure washer system this pump will do the job.
Understanding the concepts behind the use of these pumps will allow you to work more efficiently and effectively. Hydraulic centrifugal pumps are used to increase the flow of a solution through a system. This is accomplished through the use of an impeller. An impeller is important in the operation of the pumps.
Most people are aware of what occurs to solutions when placed in a centrifuge. This type of pump system consists of a rotating disk inside of the pump that has vanes that connect to the engines crankshaft. The hydraulically driven impeller vanes turn at such a speed that they force the liquid outward causing a pressure change. This pressure change pushes the liquid through the pump.
Hydraulic centrifugal pumps increase the static fluid pressure at the outlet through the means of centrifugal force. These pumps can provide fluid flow to 191 GPM (volume measurement) with a pressure of up to 140 PSI. You can see the benefits of using this type of pump in your applications. With the cast iron or stainless steel construction and materials used within the pump, corrosion of the pump is prevented. This is a pump that will give you many hours of service.
Use of Pumps
Vertical hydraulic centrifugal pumps can be seen most often used in parts washers. Abrasive solutions can be used without worrying about damage to these pumps. This works well when using this type of pump with a pressure washer system that uses different chemicals as well as water. The chemicals and/or abrasives solution makes it an excellent choice for getting the job done.
Hydraulic centrifugal pumps are most commonly used to move fluids through a system of pipes. These types of pumps can also be seen most often in the agricultural industry. They help push the fluids by increasing the pressure at the outlet of the pump. The impeller is the key part of what makes this type of pump work.
When you choose this type of pump you will definitely increase production levels and save time, which is what all businesses want in their equipment. This type of pump is reliable and dependable.
Other pumps you might be interested in: dewatering pumps, dredging pumps, reciprocating process pumps, water pumps.
